Gia Gomez , 27, appeared on the Naked News from February to September of 2003, then rejoined in March, 2005, reporting on a variety of subjects. With her diverse experiences and sharp intelligence, she is a natural addition to the Naked News anchor team. Born in Canada to Filipino parents, Ms Gomez was bitten by the performing bug early, beginning with school plays and theatre. She continues to act and dance, including in roles in two Hollywood movies. She has also modeled in New York City and appeared on numerous television shows. Most recently, she represented her city in the regional finals for a national beauty pageant.

In addition to her obvious beauty, Gia brings a solid educational background to her role as Naked News anchor. Graduating with Honors in Psychology and Communication studies, she will soon be pursuing her Masters in Psychology, with an eye on a Doctorate and, eventually, her own private practice.

When not acting or modeling, Gia spends her time enjoying as many different experiences as she can manage. She nurtures her spiritual side with yoga, art, and writing poetry, and her physical side with swimming, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. An avid reader of all types of books from philosophy to religion and global politics, Gia is also a published poet who continues to work at her craft.
