Yukiko Kimura, 29, joined the Naked News anchor team in September of 2005 after overwhelming member response to her audition. Her natural beauty and bountiful personality made her an obvious choice to join Naked News. Her passion for football, baseball, and pretty much any other event where beer and nachos flow freely, made her a perfect fit for the Naked Sports report.

Born in a smallish town in Ontario to parents of Japanese heritage, Yukiko has always been a woman of diverse passions and paths. Naturally creative, she graduated from a prominent School of the Arts as a Musical Theatre major, and boasts several years of classical voice training, in addition to an array of dance genres. Never predictable, Yukiko is currently furthering her education, attending university as a Psychology major.

As part of her interest with psychology and social change, Yukiko was also involved in the field of social work, supporting adults with developmental disabilities to allow them to live independently in their community.

Yukiko has explored her performing side with a variety of roles, from modeling, to appearing in a bathtub full of fake blood for her star turn in a student film. She is equally comfortable behind the camera, and exhibited her photographic installation piece exploring psychological themes, printed on broken glass and displayed as a large mobile. Yukiko is also producing and directing a self-penned movie she plans to release independently. To top it all off, she is currently developing her skills in yet another medium – glass blowing.

Yukiko is thrilled to be part of the Naked News team. “Innovation, creativity, nudity… as an artist, those are three of the things I value most, and that society most needs to embrace.”
